    Asthma/being out of shape keeps preventing me from getting to round 2. I start tasting blood, which is supposed to be a good time to stop.

    A nice, "LONG" 20 second rest between rounds? Are you kidding? Felt like I needed a nice long 20 minutes rest lol but I pushed through

    Conditioning will help. HIIT is a good option for boosting endurance and cardiovascular thresholds. Good luck with your 10k!
